Daniel Baquerizo, Esq. joined Levy & Levy, LLC in 2011, and litigates workers’ compensation and general liability defense. Daniel has tried two Georgia workers’ compensations trials. In both matters, the ALJ denied any further medical and indemnity benefits.
Daniel graduated cum laude from Ave Maria University in 2003. He earned his J.D. degree at Ave Maria School of Law, where he was an editor on the Ave Maria Law Review. Daniel also earned a book award for his top marks in his Trial Advocacy course.
He has interned at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, and Third District Court of Appeal. Daniel is a member of the Blackstone Legal Fellowship. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2010 and is a member of the Workers’ Compensation, Labor and Employment Law Divisions of the Florida Bar. In addition, Daniel was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2014, to the Illinois Bar in 2021, and to the Pennsylvania bar in 2022. Since 2013, Daniel has written a Florida Workers’ Compensation Digest update with a semi‑weekly circulation of over 2,500 claim handlers. He also writes and edits for Levy & Levy’s General Liability and Georgia Workers’ Compensation Caselaw Digest. In 2021, he authored an article for News & 440 Report. Daniel is a fluent Spanish speaker.
